On Thursday 27th November our Ysgol Yr Hafod football team took part in the Wrexham AFC and Active Wrexham County tournament at Ysgol Y Grango.
Twelve children were selected to represent our school and what a day we had!
In the morning games, the team won their group and managed to get the final. Unfortunately, we narrowly lost 2-1 in the final.
Each member of the team performed and behaved amazingly well throughout. A big shout out to team captain Alfie Jones who not only led by example but chipped in with some goals. Finally, a huge congratulations to William Roberts who was named player of the tournament!!
We are so proud of you all. Well done team!
