Welcome to a new term. We hope you have had a lovely break.
To celebrate Wrexham AFC making history this week with back-to-back to back promotions, we will have a Wrexham AFC celebration on Friday and children can wear their Wrexham shirts to school or club colours.
This week, we will be focusing on Hafod Landfill, and it’s impact on our community. We will also look at the wider aspects of recycling and looking after our planet.
Next week, we will be commemorating 80 years since VE day. More information will follow on this.
After School clubs will begin next week, and details will be sent out this week of all the clubs taking place.
The forecast this week is to be hot and sunny. Children can wear shorts to school if they wish (an appropriate length please) . If they bring hats , please make sure they have your child’s name in. Please also make sure that drinks bottles have your child’s name on. We have several bottles that are left behind and are unclaimed from last term. If children bring suncream, please let them know they cannot give it to anyone else to use (in case of allergies) and will need to apply it themselves, they may need to put their name on it too.
On Wednesday, Reception and Year 6 will be having their Year group photos. Please can you make sure they are in uniform. Year 6 can wear their leavers hoodies, but trousers or skirts on this day please.
